Conference Focus: Structural, sociolinguistic, functional, interactional, contextual, etc. aspects of the English language, more specifically covering the fields of: Text Linguistics, (Critical) Discourse Analysis, Stylistics, Semantics and Pragmatics of Discourse, Aspects of Speech, Intercultural Communication.
Call for Papers: This conference is the fifth in a series of conferences held by the Department of English and American Studies on pragmatics and discourse analysis. Your participation at the conference is determined by the following requirements: 1. Participants are requested to send in their abstracts by February 15, 2013. Based on the focus of your talks, the organizing committee will decide about the topical arrangement of the conference program and the individual panel(s). The final program will be sent to the participants before the conference. The participants will also receive formal requirements for writing their papers. 2. To cover the conference-related costs, the Committee asks you to pay a one-time conference fee totaling 50 Euro. 3. Please fill in the registration form available on our website and send it along with your abstract.
