University of Massachusetts Amherst: The Linguistics Department at
University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for a tenure-track
position in formal semantics at the assistant professor level, starting
September 1, 2013. PhD or equivalent international degree required at hire.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

We seek applicants who have active research programs in formal semantics and
who can contribute breadth and depth to the department with respect to research,
teaching, and advising at the graduate and undergraduate level.

Applicants should send a letter of application, curriculum vitae, copies of
research papers, and evidence of teaching ability and should arrange for
three referees to send letters of reference. Letters of reference should be
sent to the application mailing address below. Electronic versions of other
