Meeting Description:
Language change due to labor migration is a historic phenomenon. The development of present established languages and new languages is the problem area of this conference and workshop in special reference to the Hindi language and labor migration of its area. This occasion is an opportunity to explore a socio-historical phenomenon of labor migration as major aspect of language change.
Call for Papers: Papers may be presented in English or Hindi and the allotted time will be fifteen (15) minutes for each presentation. Possible themes include, but are not limited to: Correlation of labor migration to language development Migration: aspect of literature, memories and history Migration: aspect of language and culture Migration, cultural contact and linguistic implications Mental displacement and cultural crisis Globalization, multicultural centers and new languages Ethnocentrism, other's language and global communications Standardizations, right to language and language development Folk language, dialects and literary language National-international migrations in Hindi belt and development of Hindi language Non Resident Indian labors and different types of Hindi Language of Dalit people: its structure and change Linguistic identities, communalism and migration Perspectives on immigration from the host culture Centers of labor migration in modern India and their Hindi language Urbanization and new Hindies Women labor migration: perspective of language Candidates should submit their abstracts via email to: ac.nconf.hindi gmail.com The abstract should contain no more than 300 words and may be written in English or Hindi.
