Description:
The Department of English invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to begin fall 2013 in its undergraduate linguistics program. Teaching duties include various courses in linguistics (e.g., phonology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics), ESL, and composition, as well as courses in the "language" area of our English MA programs. All appointments are subject to financial availability. Completed Ph.D. by September 1, 2013, and demonstrated promise both as a teacher and a researcher. Expertise in either corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, or composition/rhetoric is particularly welcome (although other areas of specialization will be considered).
