The Amsterdam Center for Language and Communication (ACLC) of the University of Amsterdam is pleased to announce that it will host EUROSLA 23, the 23rd conference of the European Second Language Association from 28 to 31 August, 2013. Plenary speakers are: Alison Mackey (Georgetown University, Washington DC and Lancaster University), Marianne Nikolov (University of Pécs), Pavel Trofimovich (Concordia University Montreal), and Rens Bod (University of Amsterdam). The theme of this year's Language Learning roundtable is: 'Acquisition Orders in SLA: Perspectives from Emergentism and Dynamic Systems Theory.' EUROSLA is a society for people with a research interest in Second Language Acquisition. It unites a large, international group of scholars. Its yearly conferences feature presentations on all areas of second language acquisition.
Call for Papers: You are kindly invited to submit proposals for papers, posters, thematic colloquia and doctoral workshops on all areas of second language acquisition research. We expressly encourage the submission of posters. The deadline for all submissions is Sunday February 10, 2013.
