Meeting Description:

The Institute of Linguistics of the University of Buenos Aires gladly invites researchers, teachers and students to participate in the II Young Linguists Conference, which will take place 6-8 March 2013 in Buenos Aires. The goal of the Conference is to create an environment for discussion and communication, thus providing opportunities for networking among peers in which young linguists - advanced undergraduate and graduate students - can gather and exchange their work in all areas of Linguistics.

2nd Call for Papers:

The deadline has been postponed to November 30, 2012.

Proposals must be sent in Spanish, Portuguese or English in DOC format (Microsoft Word or any compatible) to jornadasjlfilo.uba.ar. The abstract should have a length between 250 and 400 words, and must be written in 12 point Times New Roman. It must also include: title in centered capital letters; and full name of the author(s) and affiliation. Please indicate thematic area (e.g., cognitive sociolinguistics) and 3 to 5 keywords.
