Desired qualifications include broad grounding in linguistic anthropology, a strong record of language-centered fieldwork, and a willingness to work towards rebuilding departmental strength in the subfield. Specialty and geographical area are open. Applicants should have strong records of publication based on established, ongoing research programs, and a demonstrated ability to teach and advise students at the undergraduate and graduate level.
