The Département de langues, linguistique et traduction of Université Laval, Québec, Canada, invites applications for a tenure-track position in ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher Education, effective June 1st, 2013.

Candidates should hold, or be near to obtaining, a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, in Second Language Teacher Education with a specialization in teaching ESL, or in any other relevant discipline. Candidates will be selected based on their research record and publications in the area of teaching ESL and their experience in teaching ESL teacher education at the university level. Native-like proficiency in oral and written English is a requirement. Experience in teaching English as a second language in elementary or high school, holding a teaching certificate and/or familiarity with the Quebec school system are considered major assets.
