10th International Conference 'Latin Vulgaire - Latin Tardif' Bergamo, 5-9 September 2012 After Lyon (2009), Oxford (2006), Sevilla (2003), Helsinki (2000), Heidelberg (1997), Caen (1994), Innsbruck (1991), Bologna (1988), Pécs (1985), the 10th International Conference on Latin Vulgaire - Latin Tardif (LVLT 10) will take place at the University of Bergamo, Italy, from Wednesday 5 September to Sunday 9 September 2012 (next year). The academic organizer of this conference will be Professor Piera Molinelli (Dipartimento di Scienze dei Linguaggi, della Comunicazione e degli Studi Culturali, Università di Bergamo); the local organizers will be Piera Molinelli (coordinator), Giuliano Bernini, Pierluigi Cuzzolin, Federica Guerini, and Francesco Lo Monaco. Six keynote speakers have been invited: Frédérique Biville (Lyon), Heiner Böhmer (Dresden), Gualtiero Calboli (Bologna), Gerd Haverling (Uppsala), Marco Mancini (Viterbo) and Daniela Urbanová (Brno). As in the previous meetings, this conference will be held under the patronage of the Comité international pour l'étude du latin vulgaire et tardif: Gualtiero Calboli (Bologna, Italia), Honorary President of the Committee Frédérique Biville (Lyon 2, France), President of the Committee Carmen Arias Abellán (Sevilla, España) Louis Callebat (Caen, France) Benjamín García Hernández (Madrid, España) Gerd Haverling (Uppsala, Sverige) Maria Iliescu (Innsbruck, Österreich) Sándor Kiss (Debrecen, Magyarország) Piera Molinelli (Bergamo, Italia) Harm Pinkster (Amsterdam, Nederland) Maria Selig (Regensburg, Deutschland) Heikki Solin (Helsinki, Suomi) Roger Wright (Liverpool, United Kingdom) The cost per person, including conference fee, coffee breaks and a buffet meal, is 100 euros (50 euros for PhD students and partners). Call for Papers: Submission deadline for abstracts: 15 February 2012 Please send your abstracts of 30 lines or less to lvlt10 unibg.it, preferably in doc-format. The local organizing committee will rate the abstract submitted and send out a response on them by the end of February 2012. Proposals will be discarded if they go beyond the chronological limit of the 10th century CE.
