There will be a special workshop on syntax related to Mark Baker's Henry Sweet Lecture, on 5 September, organized by Anders Holmberg.
Themed Session on the Syntax-Phonology Interface:
There will be a special themed session on 8 September, related to Lisa Cheng's Linguistics Association Lecture, with the title 'The Syntax-Phonology Interface', for which abstracts are now invited. These should be submitted in the same way as abstracts for the general sessions, but should be clearly marked as intended for the special session.
There will be a Language Tutorial on Gayo (Gayo, Austronesian; Indonesia), given by Domenyk Eades (University of Salford).
Education Committee Session:
The LAGB Education Committee will hold a two-hour session on whether a unified terminology is possible for grammar. Further details are available on the Education Committee website:
