The University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, seeks candidates for the following tenure-track position in the Department of Foreign Languages: Assistant/Associate Professor of Italian (Applied Linguistics).
PhD in Italian, in the fi.eld of Linguistics, Phonetics and/or History of the language; native or near native .fluency in Italian, working knowledge of Spanish or commitment to learn it; research in candidate's area of specialization and familiarity with recent developments in computer-assisted language teaching and learning; ability to teach another foreign language and teaching experience at the university level are highly recommended.
