The journal Studii de lingvistică is the linguistics journal of the Faculty of Letters in Oradea, Romania. It is an annual publication which comes out in the last trimester of each year and includes articles and reviews from all the fields of linguistics, in thematic issues or varia. Issues 1/2011 and 2/2012 are available at http://studiidelingvistica.uoradea.ro.
Issue 3/2013 welcomes submissions on the topic "Identity, similarity, analogy". Its aim is to gather articles dealing with the expression of identity relationships, considered in the broad sense of the term, without restraining the type of approach. This commitment should allow gathering varied works, as identity is a fundamental concept transverse to the categories of noun, verb and adjective. As an indication, papers could deal with:
- comparative structures and correlation (cf. Fr. tel 'as, (just) like', comme 'just as/like'…);
- linguistic items that express an identity relationship;
- the comparison of linguistic items semantically and/or morphologically related (cf. Fr. identique/identité 'identical/identity');
- the establishment of identity in discourse (cf. the reference chains and the anaphoric resumption phenomena);
- figures of speech as metaphor and analogy.
Generally speaking, all articles allowing, on the basis of linguistic facts, to enlighten the concept of identity are welcome. Languages: Romance and Germanic languages.
Non thematic articles could also be accepted in the Varia section. Reviews are welcome as well.
Submissions should contain the following information: - the author's name and affiliation, - the title of the article and an abstract of about 150 words.
