I am a PhD student in linguistics / translation studies at Bonn University and I need your help for a study on the cognitive semantics of expressions in English, Japanese and German.

The study uses an innovative interactive method to investigate the perceptual content of expressions across languages. All native speakers of any of the three languages can participate, the study is online and takes about 5 minutes to complete. You can find it here:

Please consider taking part in the study and passing it on to colleagues, students and friends.

Thank you for your help,
Pawel Sickinger
