May Seminars in Neurolinguistics and Cognitive Neuroscience:

This series of seminars is organized by the Center of Neurolinguistics and Theoretical Syntax (NeTS) at IUSS-Pavia (http://www.nets.iusspavia.it), in the frame of international agreements with national and international institutions in cognitive neuroscience.

The seminars revolve around the neurobiological basis of language, and specifically:

- The neurobiological basis of syntax;
- The neurobiological basis of language as compared to mathematics and music;
- The neurobiological basis of writing.

The seminars feature major scholars in the field and present complementary methodologies, from functional magnetic resonance imaging to deep brain stimulation.

The events are open and no registration is needed (however, seats are limited).
