Visiting position in Spanish Linguistics
The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at West Virginia University invites applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor (One-year contract). We are seeking applicants with a Ph.D. in Spanish Linguistics, or equivalent, with terminal degree expected by position start date, August 16, 2013. Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English and potential for teaching excellence required. The candidate is expected to teach Spanish language and linguistics courses, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching load is 3-3.

The position begins August 16, 2013. Screening will begin February 28, 2013, continuing until the position is filled. Initial interviews will be conducted by videoconference.
