The Applied Linguistics team in the Institute of research and studies for Arabization organized a study day on June 13, 2012 about ‘Sufi terminology: Language and emotion’, during which researchers from Morocco and abroad examined issues of Sufi terminology and its linguistic, cognitive and emotional manifestations within the framework of a ‘trilingual terminological Sufi dictionary’ (Arabic / French / English)

According the program schedule, the team, in collaboration with the Kettani scientific institution, organizes a second study day on October 30, 2013 that will be concerned with the issues of the multilingual terminological dictionaries and their paradoxes. The study day will embody a special session on the first draft of the Sufi terminological dictionary in which researchers from outside of the teamwork will present their critical readings and suggestions about this draft.

This study day will focus on the following topics:

- Multilingual terminological dictionaries
- Arabic term between production, translation and Arabization
- Terminological methodology
- The religious lexicon and its paradoxes
- Sufi terminology and its linguistic and emotional privacy

The deadline for sending participation requests in this study day is July 15, 2013. These requests should be accompanied by a summary of the contribution and a curriculum vita and sent to the following email addresses:
