The Center for Languages of the Central Asian Region (CeLCAR), a National Language Resource Center (LRC) funded by the US Department of Education, is seeking a Turkmen language specialist to edit and, if necessary, add to the elementary Turkmen materials we have. This is for part time employment, starting Monday, July 8, 2013. Graduate students are also invited to apply and will be employed on an hourly basis. This job may be done by telecommuting from a remote location, such as from a location in Central Asia.
Our introductory Turkmen materials are already in draft form and mostly require Turkmen language editing. Successful applicants must be self motivated and able to meet strict project deadlines with minimal supervision, be native speakers of Turkmen as spoken in Turkmenistan. Please provide: a curriculum vita and a written language sample in Turkmen.
