Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Yale University invites applications for a non-renewable 9-month lecturer position, beginning August 15, 2013. The appointee will teach two courses each semester during the 2013-2014 academic year, advise student research, and be fully involved in the intellectual life of the department. We are particularly interested in candidates who can offer graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of phonology, phonetics, and computational linguistics. Applicants should submit their application, including a cover letter describing their research interests, a current CV, evidence regarding teaching qualifications, two or three representative pieces of research, and the names of two references, to the application URL below. Review of applications will begin immediately, and will continue until the position is filled. The requirements for the PhD must be completed by the time of appointment.
