Living Language, an imprint of Random House, Inc., is currently looking for a work-for-hire author for an upcoming Farsi language course for speakers of English. The project consists of three books, approximately 1000 manuscript pages in total, double spaced. The first book assumes zero background in Farsi, and the third ends at an intermediate level.
The candidate:
- must be a native speaker of Farsi
- must be able to work legally in the US, or must reside outside the US
- should have a background in linguistics and/or teaching Farsi
- must submit a sample lesson, based on a template provided by Living Language
