Meeting Description:

The 31st International Conference on English Teaching and Learning is to be hosted by Chung Yuan Christian University on May 17-18, 2014. Enthusiastic discussions among researchers from non-English-speaking countries have broadened the horizon of English teaching and learning. Other disciplines, such as Translation, Interpretation, Literature, and Cultural Studies, also play essential roles in English education. Such development suggests that English education is no longer limited within a certain field; knowledge from different disciplines cultivates diversity in English education. Recognizing this trend, the ICETL_ROC Organizing Committee aims to provide a platform for researchers from various fields to exchange ideas on issues related to the empowerment of English education and cross-cultural communication.
