Meeting Description:

This workshop aims to enhance collaboration between researchers specialized in Balkan linguistics and researchers specializing in Romance varieties developed in contact with Balkan languages.

Particular emphasis will be given to the study of endangered and or minority languages/dialects.

The aim is to have representatives of different geo-linguistic areas as well as different methodological approaches, including: comparative dialectal syntax, diachronic change, contact linguistics, micro-parametric variation, and language description.

Call for Papers:

Proposal for 30-minute presentations or posters are invited on any aspect of syntax.

Send an anonymous two-page abstract no later than September 15 to Rossella Iovino at rossella.iovinounive.it.

In the mail indicate the title of your abstract, your name and affiliation and whether you wish to give a presentation or a poster.
