I am working on free adjuncts and I would like to have some information on works dealing with that construction mainly in the Present-day English period (information on earlier periods would be appreciated as well).

I have been reading Stump (1985), Kortmann (1991, 1995), Haspelmath & König (1995), Río-Rey (2002) among others, but I would like to have access to some other works as well in order to complete my reference list.

Together with free adjuncts, I would value information on absolute constructions and any other construction that could be of interest for a study on this topic.

Thank you so much in advance,
