An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Linguistics from an accredited institution is required for appointment. Candidates who have ABD status may apply; however, the PhD must be completed before the appointment.
Evidence of success in scholarly research in Field Linguistics, Morphology, Semantics, or a combination thereof. Candidates will have demonstrated their ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals. Preference will be given to candidates whose publication record is commensurate with their years of experience. The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively with the faculty, staff, and students from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
