This is a thematic colloquium proposal for EUROSLA 2014 with the title “Corpus Pragmatics and Second Language Research.”

The aim of the colloquium is to present current cutting-edge advances on the interface between pragmatics and corpus linguistics applied to second language learning research.

Call for Papers:

The aim of the colloquium is to present current cutting-edge advances on the interface between pragmatics and corpus linguistics applied to second language learning research. Scholars interested in the synergy between these three disciplines are invited to submit an abstract (min. 300 and max. 450 words) with contact details to the colloquium convener.

The contributions to the panel will be published in a forthcoming volume of the Yearbook of Corpus Linguistics and Pragmatics (Springer): http://www.springer.com/series/11559.
