Description:

Responsibilities:

Design and improve linguistic components such as:
- Tokenization and text normalization
- Language identification
- Letter-to-sound conversion
- Morphological analysis
- Syntactic analysis
- Prosody prediction
- Phonological modeling
- Build and test TTS voices.
- Manage all technical aspects of TTS language development.
- Design, annotate and process text corpora and lexica.
- Annotate speech databases, design recording material
- Support professional services teams and contribute to customer project success
- Collaborate with researchers, software engineers and linguists in the broader TTS team

Profile:
- MSc in Computational Linguistics or other relevant field
- Native Korean speaker
- Experience with TTS development
- Excellent communication in English, more languages is a plus
- Team player

Preferred:
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Perl
- Interest in NLU research and methods
- Experience with data driven approaches to NLP/NLU
- Linguistic expertise of Korean syntax, morphology, phonology and prosody
- Self-starter, fast learner and independent
- Attention to detail and strong quality focus
- Further programming skills is a strong plus
