Description:
Applicants should possess a Ph.D in Linguistics and evidence of a record of research and publications.
Preference will be given to applicants who have a primary specialization in one of the following areas: - discourse studies / pragmatics - English as a Second Language
Ability to teach a range of Linguistics courses outside of the primary area of specialization will be expected.
Teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level will be highly desirable.
Responsibilities will include: - Teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in Linguistics - Supervision of graduate research in Linguistics at the M.A, M.Phil and Ph.D levels - Research and publication in the discipline of Linguistics - Course and programme design, coordination, and other contributions to departmental duties as well as University/community-wide activities
