The Department of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is proud to announce the 3rd International Graduate Student Conference on Diverse Approaches to Linguistics. The conference is organized by the department’s graduate students and will take place on October 8, 2013.
IGDAL aims to encourage an open dialogue among young scholars from diverse perspectives in linguistics.

2nd Call for Papers:
Graduate students not having defended a Ph.D. in Linguistics by October 2013 are invited to submit abstracts in various fields of Linguistics. Contributions can focus on results from completed as well as ongoing research. Presentations should describe original, unpublished work.
The conference will include oral presentations as well as a poster session. Please indicate in your submission whether you want your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation, for the poster session or for both. Oral presentations are allotted 30 minutes followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
Abstracts should not exceed two pages, including data, references, examples and diagrams. They should be typed in at least 11-point font and submitted in PDF format.

Deadline for abstract submission: May 1, 2013
Participants of IGDAL are cordially invited to attend IATL 29, to be held at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, October 6-7, 2013.
