The assistantship requires the successful candidate to work as an editorial assistant at the international journal “Intercultural Pragmatics” published by Mouton de Gruyter: Berlin/New York, and edited by Professor Istvan Kecskes.

Responsibilities include proof-reading, copy-editing, preparing manuscripts for publication (4 issues per year), logging, and maintaining files on in-coming manuscripts through all stages of publication; and performing editorially-related administrative tasks.

The assistantship pays $12,000. It carries 9 units of tuition per semester.
