Extended deadline: May 23, 2014
We are inviting papers on any topic concerning formal accounts of meaning and/or grammatical structure. Particularly, we invite work exploring core aspects of the organization of linguistic knowledge and interface phenomena – work on the interface areas of syntax-semantics, semantics-pragmatics, syntax-pragmatics, syntax-prosody, pragmatics-prosody, morphology-semantics, and similar connections.
Abstracts are invited for oral presentations (20-minute presentation plus 10-minute discussion) on any topic concerning formal accounts to meaning and structure in natural language.
In addition, the workshop will be hosting a poster session. We especially encourage undergraduate and graduate students to participate.
For further information, including format information for abstracts, please take a look at https://sites.google.com/site/workshopformallinguistics/ or send an email to workshop.ufrgsgmail.com.
Abstracts must be submitted electronically, using the Easy Abstract tools in the LinguistList, at the following address: http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/workshop-ufrgs
When you submit your abstract, you will be asked to indicate whether you would like it to be considered (i) for a talk only, or (ii) for a talk or a poster.
