Meeting Description:

We are pleased to announced to that the Department of Linguistics at the University of Kerala, Trivandrum (India) will host the 36th International Conference of the Linguistics Society of India (ICOLSI-36).

The Registration fee is as follows:

1. Participants from SAARC Countries : Rs.3000/-
2. Students from SAARC Countries : Rs. 1500/-
3. Students from SAARC Countries (without fellowship): Rs. 1500/-
4. All others: USD 300 (three hundred US dollars)

Registration fee includes conference kit, modest accommodation and boarding facility for SAARC delegates. For other delegates, registration fee includes conference kit and boarding facility only. Delegates who wish to have hotel accommodation at their own expense may contact the organizers well in advance at 36iclsiconfgmail.com or 36iclsiconferencegmail.com.

Call for Papers:

Abstracts are invited for oral presentations on substantial, original and unpublished research on all aspects of theoretical and applied linguistics, with particular focus on language and linguistic applications relevant to South Asia.

Abstracts should be submitted in English (in pdf format) and should be sent by September 30, 2014. Authors may submit no more than one individual or one joint (co-authored) proposal (only one abstract per author). The abstracts should anonymous, and fit on at most 2 pages including examples, tables/figures and references (using 12-point Times New Roman with reasonable margins).Queries related Abstract Submission may be addressed to Dr. S.A. All those presenting papers must be LSI members by the time they register for the conference.
