This workshop within the Olomouc Linguistics Colloquium, Olinco 2014 (June 5 - 7, Czech Republic, http://olinco.upol.cz/) will be held during the first day of the main conference.

The invited speakers and discussants for the workshop are:

Linda Polka (McGill University)
Ocke-Schwen Bohn (Aarhus University)

Final Call for Papers:

The workshop is intended to bring together researchers working on various aspects of acquisition of L1 and L2 phonetics and phonology by children and adults. We welcome contributions on topics such as:

- Acquisition of segments and prosody
- Monolingual and bilingual development
- Typical and atypical development
- L1 and L2 speech production and perception
- Empirical studies of speech acquisition
- Implications of acquisitional data for phonological theory
- Models of phonological development
