The 9th Iranian Conference on Linguistics will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 24 and 25, 2015 in ATU Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Languages.

Call for Papers:

Topics may include, among others:

- Phonetics and Phonology
- Morphology
- Syntax
- Semantics
- Pragmatics, Discourse Analysis, and Information Structure
- Teaching Persian to non-Persian Speakers
- Ancient Iranian Languages
- Languages and Dialects of Iran
- Psycholinguistics
- Sociolinguistics
- Neurolinguistics
- Cognitive Linguistics
- Language Philosophy
- Language Typology
- Computational Linguistics
- Historical-comparative Linguistics
- Applied Linguistics

Special Notes:

- Papers should include between 8 and 14 pages (including abstract, tables and diagrams, references, and annexes).
- The font size of the papers should be 16for the title, 15 for the subtitle, and 12 for the body.
- All the phonetic transcriptions should be in IPA
- Papers are to contain at most 3 authors. Submitters can send at most one independent and at most one shared abstract to the conference.
- Abstracts are expected to be written in two pages: the first containing the name and family name of the author(s), affiliation, and landline and mobile numbers, and the second including an abstract having 300-350 words and 3-5 keywords.
- Please submit the abstracts in Word and in an unzipped format.
- The sent files should be renamed by the name and family name of the first author and are also expected to be in English.

Important Dates:

Deadline for abstract submission: September 6, 2014 (not to be extended)
Notification of acceptance: September 20, 2014
Deadline for final paper submission: November 21, 2014
Conference date: February 24-25, 2015
