Building on the success of our previous Chancellor’s Fellowship recruitment programmes over the last two years and given our continuing strong performance, the University of Edinburgh intends to appoint up to 50 tenure-track Chancellor’s Fellowships across the University’s 22 Schools as a further major investment in the future of our teaching and research. In our School, the Strategic Priority Areas in Linguistics and English Language are language evolution, and applied linguistics (including discourse analysis).
