Meeting Description:

The inaugural meeting of the Prairies Workshop on Language & Linguistics will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Brandon University in Brandon, Manitoba. The conference is intended to be eclectic and friendly.

Call for Papers:

We invite papers or posters on any topic related to language and linguistics. Presentations on works in progress are welcome, and students are especially encouraged to attend and present.

Presentations will be 20 minutes with 10 minutes for discussion.

Abstracts of a maximum of 300 words should be submitted by January 31, 2014 to the contact email address in PDF format. In the email, include the following information:

I. Title of paper
II. Name(s) of presenter(s)
III. Department affiliation
IV. Email address for each speaker
V. Preference for poster or talk
VI. Your requirements for audio-visual equipment
