I’m interested in finding out how others have set up their professional societies for smaller interest groups in linguistics. Specifically:

* is there an Executive Committee of some sort, and if so, what are the positions?
* are there dues? If so, how much?
* (for those of us in the US) If there are dues, how is the money handled? (e.g. is there a designated bank account?)
* if there are dues, what are they used for?

Thanks! (And you can respond directly to me - I can summarize for the list if there's interest.)
