The 37th Annual Conference of the International Linguistic Association will be held from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, 24-26 April 1992 in the Intercultural Center at Georgetown University in Washington, DC The theme of conference is "Functional Linguistics." The invited speakers will be Simon Dik, Talmy Givon, Andre Martinet, Kenneth L Pike, and Thomas Sebeok.
