Merex is a company involved in literacy and numeracy training for
employees that do not have these skills. Merex also rewrites training
manuals so that they are user-friendly.

 Akashi Vocational College of Technology:

 Applications are invited for one 3- to 5-year term appointment for a
 lecturer position in English, effective on 1 October 1992.
 Qualifications: M.A. in TESL, Age under 40, a Demonstrated record of
 effective teaching. Duties include teaching 10 hours (12 lessons) of
 teaching English per week. A salary is around 4830,000 yen ($35,700) per
 year. Some allowances for residential costs will be provided. Deadline
