HIL dissertations is a series which aims at publishing all dissertations coming out of the Holland Institute of Generative Linguistics (HIL). HIL offers a graduate program in generative linguistics and is a joint enterprise of the Free University in Amsterdam, Leiden University, and the University of Amsterdam.
