British Association of Applied Linguistics __________________________________________________________ BAAL BOOK PRIZE 1993 The British Association of Applied Linguistics offers an annual prize for an oustanding book in the field of Applied Linguistics. Entries for the 1993 prize are now invited. The prize will be awarded at the Association's Annual Meeting at University of Salford in September. Books in any field of Applied Linguistics are eligible for the prize and eligibility is NOT restricted to books published in the United Kingdom and authors need NOT be members of BAAL. Entries must bear a 1992 copyright notice. Nominations for the BAAL Book Prize are made by PUBLISHERS of the book, and must be accompanied by four copies of the nominated volume, and an entry fee of 20 pounds sterling. The closing date for nominations will be April 30th 1993.
