I am a student working for my master degree on machine translation (Russian ->
Portuguese), and sometime ago it was sent to me (by a friend of a friend of...)
 some pages in which was written "Analyse Morpho du Russe - Jean-Paul Horn Pari
s - 1988). I've already written to INALCO (Paris) and received no answer.
Could anyone send me information on how a copy of the paper (book?) could be ob
tained or how the author could be contacted. Any information would be apprecia
ted.

I did a double-take when I saw the acronym
for the British Association of Applied Linguistics.

Does anyone know of other acronyms with a second "meaning"
distinct from the name they represent?
