Style Guidelines for Manuscripts Submitted to Working Papers

Manuscripts must be camera-ready. They should be typed or printed in
black on white, non-erasable, letter-sized paper (8-1/2" x 11" or 21.5 x
28 cm). Send the original ribbon copy, not a photoreproduction, fax, or
other copy. All figures and tables must be in black ink only, within the
stated margins. Nb. Papers that cannot be legibly reduced cannot be
included in the preprints.

1. Margins: one-half inch (1.2 cm) at sides, top and bottom (reduction
 will produce larger margins).
2. Type: use pica or 12 point type. Take care that computer printouts
you send are in a font at least as large as pica and that they
will reproduce clearly when reduced by half. Reduce a sample of
your manuscript by half to be sure that it is legible.
3. Spacing: use single spacing or one and a half line spacing; do not
 double space.
4. Page numbers: place page numbers only at bottom center; upper corners
are to be reserved for running numbers for the entire volume of
 preprints.
5. Title: center the title on the first page. Author and affiliation
should be centered below the title:

 ANOTHER LOOK AT TILLAMOOK PHONOLOGY
 Eric P. Hamp
 University of Chicago

6. Send complete papers only. Do not send abstracts.
7. Follow LSA, CLS, or AA style sheets for reference.
