ANDREW W. MELLON POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN THE HUMANITIES AT STANFORD To be awarded to highly promising scholar-teachers in the Humanities, these non-faculty one-year positions will carry department affiliation and limited teaching duties, and the opportunity for scholarly work and intellectual growth. The PhD must be in hand by September 1994, and preferably received within the last seven years. The Award carries an annual stipend of $32,000 and may be renewed for a second year. PSYCHOLINGUISTICS: The M.A./Ph.D. Program in Linguistics at tThe Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track position in PSYCHOLINGUISTICS. Duties include graduate teaching, supervision of student research in experimental psycholinguistics, and liaison with other related doctoral programs in of The Graduate School.Appointment is for Fall 1994. Requirements: an earned doctorate in Linguistics (or related discipline) and a substantial record of research and publications.
