There will be a one-day symposium on lesbian use of language during the COSWL Language and Gender Interface Conference at the LSA Institute this summer. The probable date is Sunday, July 18. There will be paper presentations in the morning and small discussion groups in the afternoon. The symposium is not formally associated with the COSWL conference but will overlap with that event. We hope L&G Conference participants will be interested in the Lesbian Use of Language Symposium as well. This is an announcement of the symposium and a CALL FOR PAPERS. Abstracts on any aspect of language use by lesbians are appropriate.
