Qualifications: Ph.D. in Linguistics ( specialization open) and a demonstrated record of effective teaching and research publications. The Linguistics Department at the University of the Witwatersrand is offering a short, temporary teaching appointment for a period between August and the end of October 1993. We need someone to contribute to a variety of undergraduate courses in the areas of phonology, tonology, morphology, syntax, language acquisition, and sociolinguistics.
