I've recently read an interesting book by Anna Wierzbicka, the Polish
semanticist, which I'd like to discuss in a class I'm teaching in the fall.

I'm embarrassed to admit, however, that I don't know how her name is
usually pronounced in ling. circles. Is it [vyezhbitska] or
is it Anglicized to [virzbitska] or [wirzbitska]?
