* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The 9th Biennial Conference on Balkan and South Slavic Linguistics, Literature, and Folklore Call for Papers The 9th Biennial Conference on Balkan and South Slavic Linguistics, Literature, and Folklore will be held Thursday-Saturday April 7-9, 1994 on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Papers are invited on any topic covered by the name of the conference. To propose a paper, please send one copy of an abstract (1 page maximum) to the address below by *DECEMBER 1, 1994*. Email submission of abstracts is especially encouraged. Please bring this announcement to the attention of interested colleagues and students. If there is substantial interest among participants, we intend to publish the proceedings as a separate volume of Indiana Slavic Studies. Along with your paper proposal, please indicate whether or not you would expect to be interested in publication of your paper in the conference proceedings. A deadline for submission of written papers will be established a few months after the conference; we will not require camera-ready copy.
