LECTURERS IN ESL Two full-time positions in ESL, appointed for three years with possible renewal beginning Fall, 1994. Experience in ESL teaching in both integrated skills and expository/technical writing at the university level. Experience with curriculum design and materials development. Interest in computer and video-assisted language instruction or theoretical second language acquisition research desirable. Must have at least an MA in an appropriate area of study. the following job announcement has appeared in the British press (the Independant, I believe) "Lecturer/senior lecturer in Phonetics and Linguistics School of Speech Therapy, University of Central England in Birmingham. Applicants should be well qualified linguists and/or phoneticians, with a higher degree and aninterest in the clinical application of theri subject, particularly in relation to Speech Therapy.
