Subject: Job Announcement

Pending approval, the Department of English at Michigan State University is
seeking to fill a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level,
effective August 1995. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. (by August, 1995) in
Applied Linguistics or a TESOL-related field and should be able to teach
general MA TESOL courses. Specialization in one or more of the following areas
is being sought: classroom-based research, interlanguage discourse analysis,
interlanguage pragmatics. Ability to teach general undergraduate
language-related courses is desirable. Forward a letter of application, a
current CV, sample publications and three letters of reference by December 15,

linguistique menant a la permanence.

Description du poste: Enseignement de linguistique et langue francaise
au premier cycle; enseignement au 2e et 3e cycles; encadrement des
etudiants; engagement dans le recherche; participation aux comites du
college ou vous serez affecte(e) et du departement.

Exigences: doctorat en linguistique, publications, excellente
connaissance de la langue francaise, aptitude au travail en equipe.
