FOUR videotapes on NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION are now available
 from the University of California

 the four videos.

The four videotapes are:

1. THE HUMAN VOICE: Exploring Vocal Paralanguage
2. A WORLD OF GESTURES: Culture and Nonverbal Communication
3. THE INTERPERSONAL PERCEPTION TASK (IPT)
4. THE INTERPERSONAL PERCEPTION TASK-15 (IPT-15)

 A fifth video will be available shortly. Each videotape
comes with an INSTRUCTOR'S GUIDE. These videotapes are now

Announcing the Australian-Linguistics-L electronic forum at ANU

The AUSTRALIAN-LINGUISTICS-L Forum was established by the Australian
National University to provide a world-wide communications vehicle and
a central electronic archive for anyone working on, or interested in
the study of indigenous Australian (Aboriginal and Islander)
languages, including contemporary creoles and Aboriginal and Islander
English dialects.

The Forum was established on the 27 October 1994 on the joint
initiative of Dr T.Matthew Ciolek <tmciolekcoombs.anu.edu.au>,
Coombs Computing Unit, Research Schools of Social Sciences & Pacific
and Asian Studies, The Australian National University, and Dr Ian
Green <Ian.Greenanu.edu.au>, Department of Linguistics, the
Faculties, ANU.
