I am beginning to work on a dissertation on the acquisition of Spanish as a Second Language at the University of Southern California. I would like to know if anyone out there knows it there exists a "data bank" or "corpus" of material from Spanish second Language learners. I could use a data bank that is either written or in electronic form. If anybody has information on thif request, plase answer directly to me at my e-mail address provided below. I will post a summary if there are enough responses. Thank oyu. I'm looking for clearcut, uncontroversial, no-other-possible- hypothesis cases in non-IE languages of /Th/ > /T/, i.e. cases where a whole voiceless series of aspirated stops has changed to (or merged with) plain voiceless stops. References to any such change going on as we speak would be particularly welcome. Marc Picard picardMail to author|Respond to list|Read more issues|LINGUIST home page|Top of issuevax2.concordia.ca
